Abstract: The present paper studies the use of mathematical modeling in environmental issues, concerning mainly lake pollution. Such mathematic models were the foundation of physical sciences and also a great factor in their development. For example the differential equations help in building the phenomena. We can easily describe the evolution of such phenomena, both at a given time and also during the entire duration. Any mathematical model should be based on fundamental principles of mathematical logics, including the physical meaning of parameters used for such calculus. While studyind the physical, ecological and chemical processes in a river, the "black box" model can be described using either physico-chemical models or mathematical forecasting, which are based on the assumption, possibility or prognosis of environmental concentrations, when the parameters are previously known.
